Preview of 2022 Call for Proposal Questions:

Acknowledgements (You must agree to the following in order to have your session considered.)

  • By submitting a proposal, I agree to grant permission to the rights of my image, likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration.  I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears.  Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording.  I certify that the presentation and materials that will be used in the proposed session are my own original material or material for which I have full authority to grant the rights set forth in this release.  I also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area.  If my submission includes co-presenters, I understand I am submitting this statement on their behalf as well.
  • If my proposal is accepted, and to meet attendee accessibility needs, I understand that I am required to submit my session materials by the designated deadline.  Conference materials will be made available to conference attendees during and after the conference.
  • If my proposal is accepted, I understand that I and my co-presenters will be required to register for the conference at the early bird rate of $299.
  • OTC'22 is being planned as a face-to-face conference in Long Beach, CA from June 29-July 1, 2022.   Presenters will be required to present in person.  Should the need to switch to an online format arise, I understand that presenters will require the ability to present virtually (e.g. computer with camera and microphone, private/quiet space to present from, etc.) as well as a reliable internet connection.

Networking Topics

Networking Sessions will create a space for community collaboration, peer-to-peer learning, creativity and open conversation featuring topics chosen by attendees, for attendees.  Topic suggestions could be something you are struggling with and need guidance on or something you are passionate about that you want to share with other attendees.  (Other Topic Examples:  Learning more about how other schools use specific tools, design, how to engage students, features in Canvas, technology, etc., etc., etc…). Tell us what topics you’d like share or learn more about!

Networking Session Facilitator

Would you be willing to act as a Virtual Network Session Facilitator at OTC'22? (It would require up to 50 minutes of your time during conference hours. No need for an agenda or presentation. As a facilitator, you would welcome attendees and provide context for the session.  We can provide you with tips on how to facilitate a networking session.)
